Ages 6+
The Basic Mermaid course if for those that are comfortable in the water and wish to learn how safely and comfortable swim as a mermaid.
Academic Requirements(included): Independent PADI E-Learning. This must be completed prior to the confined water session.
Physical requirements:
- swim at least 25m/80ft without swim aids
- float comfortably at the surface for at least 3 mins
- in good physical health.

No prior snorkeling, skin diving or freediving course completion is required.
Required Equipment:
- monofin (with or without tail/tailskin)
- mask and snorkel
- bi-fins(freediving fins)
- weightbelt
